Design

There is a responsibility when it comes to desgin. It's effects are clear and measurable. Design is influence, design is comfirmation, design is evolving. Without getting knee deep in jargon, the designer plays an instrumental role in the decisions we make in our daily lives.

Good design is obvious. Great design is transparent

When it comes to your business, harnessing this power can help make or break a great idea. Successfull products have successful designs—it's really that simple.

I've been fortunate enough to design materials for a variety of clients—all reputable, honest companies. However, as a Director I am looking to use my skills for progress. I believe in clean/green energy. I feel very strongly about the urgency of innovation in this industry as it effects the lives of our immediate and distant future. There is an immense challenge for any company looking to break out in this field. Large, established corporations have a stronghold on the competition and million dollar marketing budgets to drown out the start-ups. However, even against these odds success can be obtained with insightful marketing campaigns which educate and motivate the public.

Design builds trust in your relationships. This is of vital importance in the sale and retention of your customers. Understanding your demographic, how to reach them, and how to inspire them to buy are essential and accomplished with a well thought marketing campaign. When design goes bad you lose customers and sales, you lose direction and you lose focus. A solid design motivates customers and employees in much the same way. An investment in design really is an investment in your image you project to the world. It pays to get it right the first time.

Traditional vs Modern

Design is not static, it is constantly evolving. Much like a business it needs to flow within the environment, not define it. Design needs to reflect more of the likes and tastes of your customers rather than the demands of the product. In the past, commercials, mailers, flyers and billboards were a major source of identity. While some of these may still be true today, new approaches are essential for survival in a modern world. Today your customers are visually confronted with marketing campaigns every 10 seconds. What can you do to stand out?

Modern design entails a greater understanding of how your customers interact with your product. Gone are the days of limited reach, gone are the restrictions of medium, no longer do you have to guess at your customer's wishes. With technology you can get REAL feedback from REAL customers. Your message is delivered in many more ways and your audience has evolved in sophistacation and expectations. There truly are unlimited ways to communicate your message and reach your audience. You don't need all of them, just the ones that are right for you.
